Challenges can either bring out the best in you or the worst in you. We’re in a training environment where we’re asking you to challenge yourselves on a constant basis. We want you to fail 100 times, only to try for a 101th time and more. It’s how we get better. So don’t take yourselves too seriously. Use competition to fuel your drive, but don’t be competitive to a fault. You are your own biggest competitor, and as Coach Glassman says, don’t worry about messing up, it just means that you’re taking your ego out of the equation. Have fun, be a positive influence, and impress us.
