Our BeachFit 101 Specialty Program is wrapping up this week. For the past six weeks, our participants have worked hard through conditioning workouts that were designed to stoke their metabolism to new levels. In addition to the workouts, students have also practiced holding themselves accountable through regular body composition tracking and through the uploading of their progress pictures to our private group.
Specialty Programs provide our community with a unique opportunity to supplement specific parts of our training spectrum. They also allow a different dynamic to be fostered amongst our students who may not normally workout during same times.
Whether it’s strength, endurance, conditioning, or specific skills, the results achieved by our students who participate in the programs clearly drive us to keep things going.
Next week, we’ll be kicking off the Weightlifting 101 Specialty Program, which will be lead by Coach Rod. The program will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:30pm and will run for 6 weeks. The objective of the program is to improve your capabilities in the Olympic lifts: snatch, clean, and jerk. The program will be a combination of specific strength work and drills to improve your lifting technique. The cost of the program is $150.
